Special visits have been organised to The Gallery of Costume at Platt Hall with its famous dress collection; the banners in the conservation department at the People’s History Museum; the textile and weaving machinery at the Museum of Science & Industry; as well as a guided walk through the streets of Cottonopolis; and the Hat Works Museum in Stockport.

Based in the heart of Manchester at the Ibis Hotel on Portland Street, we will be staying close to the city centre and on all major bus routes. Accommodation has been reserved from Thursday evening until Sunday morning on a bed & breakfast basis. There will be free time on Saturday afternoon for you to explore Manchester and perhaps indulge in a spot of retail therapy! The cost for the three day trip will be £130.00 per person sharing or £230.00 for a single room.
